Success Through Being Lazy

I want you to know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a lazy person. Being lazy actually has no bearing on the success you will have in your life. The fact that you are lazy doesn’t even make you bad. All it means is that you don’t want to do certain things for yourself or in general. Lazy people usually want other people to take care of tasks for them. This is OK too! Unfortunately I’ve come to find that most people who are lazy have a horrible time becoming successful because they get caught up in the fact that they are lazy. Instead of going with the flow of their nature they beat themselves up and feel guilty about who they are. Luckily, in this article I’m going to breakdown what a lazy person is and how to become extremely successful if you happen to be one. Enjoy.

What exactly is a lazy person?
My definition of a lazy person is someone who doesn’t want to do any work. Someone who would rather have someone else do the work for them. While some people have drive to do the work themselves the lazy person doesn’t. Most lazy people are too busy wanting to enjoy other beautiful things in life, and usually they tend to be extremely deep thinkers. The level of laziness varies to different degrees. Some people just don’t want to do the dishes, while other people don’t even want to run their lives.

Now a lazy person is not to be confused with a person with low self-esteem. Many lazy people have a lot of pride in themselves. They just don’t like doing the things they don’t prefer doing.

You know you’re a lazy person when:

  • Your Mom cleaned your room way into your teens and maybe even 20s.

  • You get people to do things for you like go to the store.

  • You get someone else to cook your meals all the time.

  • You don’t have a job, or hate the idea of working for someone else.

  • At work you get someone else to do your task.

  • When you were a kid your parents or friends did all your homework.

But my parents told me it was wrong to be lazy.
While most parents mean well, the ones who chastise their children for being lazy aren’t doing any good. They are actually slowing down the child’s development into the person they really are. You and your parents would have been better off if they showed you alternative ways to getting to what you want without having to work hard for it. (So long as its legal!) Most lazy kids want to enjoy the splendor of life, and they grow up into adults that want to do the same. And that’s perfectly fine!

It’s better to learn this at an early age so the child doesn’t grow up believing something is wrong with them. Since this is such a natural thing there is actually no way to change it. Even if there are honest attempts, there will always be the base desire to do things that are uplifting. If the child doesn’t find cleaning their room, doing the dishes, or anything else for that matter uplifting, you have to show them an alternative approach. And you probably don’t like doing them either, and so you yourself must find a new approach! Hire someone to do them for you!

The Real Power of the Lazy Guy or Girl.
Underneath every lazy guy or girl is the potential for greatness if they embrace the fact that they are lazy, and then start figuring out ways to work with it instead of against this nature. This nature has the potential to turn you into a millionaire if you happen to be a lazy person.

Step #1 Accept the fact that you are lazy.
This means if you don’t like cleaning your house, then hire someone who will clean it. If you don’t enjoy cutting your lawn- then hire someone who will. If you don’t have the money to do these things and you don’t feel the drive to get a job then create a business and get people to do the work for you. Sit down and try to come up with a simple money making strategy and put it into motion. Don’t attempt to come up with something costly and complex. Keep it simple, and have others go out and make the money for you.

What I want you to understand is that it’s best you enjoy every aspect of life. You are here to do the things you like most. There is no need to do something you dislike in order to get more of the things you do like. It’s actually best that you just keep having fun. I always say, “A happy journey will lead to a happy end.”

Step #2 Surround yourself with people who support you and LIKE to do the things you need them to do.
Trust me, there is someone who enjoys doing the work you dislike, and would probably enjoy working for you. If you can’t provide them money you might want to try offering a service you like doing.  Get a team of people going who thoroughly enjoy the task that they perform and you will find yourself way better off.

Step #3 Be your own boss.
It’s real important that you either become self-employed or be your own business owner, if you aren’t in a job you love. Try to think of something simple you’d like to do, and believe you can make a lot of money from. The Universe will show you a way to do so. In my opinion, some of the simplest businesses are sales and real estate. Both are pretty systematic and a lot of risk can be reduced with proper study.

Step #4
I know I’ve said this before, but at all cost where you can get someone else to do the jobs you’d rather not do. It will save you time, and in the long run you will most likely make more money. I’ve come to find that when I’m in my happiest moods I make the most money, because I’m aligned with Source.

Step #5 Try to have some kind of vision.
It’s best to have some sort of idea or feeling you’re reaching for with your life. That will give you the necessary drive to keep on enjoying life, and doing the things you do like doing. It will also cause you to manifest results faster.

I’ve been using the words “Lazy People” a lot to define people who are actually visionaries inside. If you look at today’s wealthy you will see these same people living the lives they want and having the parts they don’t like, being done for them. It’s been this way since the dawn of time. It basically boils down to just accepting yourself and going from there. If you don’t like washing your car, then get someone else to do it for you. I know due to your conditioning you might find this difficult to start doing. Just take your time with it, and run with what feels right within you. If you can’t implement all the steps at first just see yourself being free and having someone else take care of the things you don’t like doing.

I know for some of you the idea of hiring someone to do the things you dislike might not seem practical. However, if you do have the money to get someone to take a little work off your plate you will notice a difference. You will feel better, and your mind will be more free to enjoy your life. Start where you can and keep moving up. I highly recommend implementing steps #3 and #5 right away. If you can get a simple vision and some kind of business going, one that you enjoy, you will start finding your way to having more time on your hands and ultimately more money in your pocket.

Accepting yourself can be a difficult journey, but it can be done. Make sure you surround yourself with people who support you. Don’t think of yourself as a lazy person, but as someone who is extremely valuable and you’d rather be spending your time doing the things you like. You are a smart enough to hire people who enjoy what they do, and you are smart enough to do only what you like doing! Good luck my lazy friend! ( Ahem! I mean visionary! )
