Your Path to Enlightenment
In my opinion, what defines an enlightened person is someone who is able to have a clear mind. Furthermore, one who can focus on all the things out of life that their particular heart desires. Whether it be passionate relationships, money, better health or all of the above- enlightenment is about the mind. Another defined characteristic of an enlightened person is the ability to follow their inner voice. Some people call this “intuition,” “gut instincts,” or even a “sixth sense.” Whatever you choose to call it- this all boils down to being able to trust your feelings at all times. When that person is able to trust their heart and act on choices that feels good to them, they have mastered a huge portion of their life. In my experience, I have found that both focus and trusting one’s feelings is the key to enlightenment.
In my life I have been called “Enlightened” as if it was some huge unreachable task that only a few mortals are able to reach in this lifetime. I kind of laugh at all of that because being Enlightened really isn’t all that difficult. In fact it’s super easy- once you learn to focus on what it is you want and then trust your feelings every step of the way.
You can start today. Pick something that you want to see happen in your life. Devote most of your mental activity to that. What I mean for you to do is to simple, just think about the end result of what you would like to see happen. The cool thing about the human mind is that if you put something in front of it long enough it will start trying to figure out ways to obtain it. You will start getting inspired ideas and being presented with circumstances that will take you to the mental picture you are holding in your mind- the actual manifestation. What I like to remind people is one thing, it can be very difficult to head in any direction they would like to go in life if they don’t have any kind of mental focus. If you’re not at least looking at it all the time how can you possible go to it?
Furthermore, focusing your mind should be a enjoyable task that should bring a smile to your face as you focus on what it is you wish to have or be experiencing. Try to find the things that just make you feel like you’re on cloud nine. This is a good start. You’ll find that focusing like this throughout your day will be good for both your overall demeanor and your health as it causes your stress levels to subside.
The next thing I would advise you to do is trust your feelings from this point on. This means no longer second-guessing yourself. When it comes to a choice you feel bad about making don’t try to convince yourself to go against it. Trust your gut and intuition because it is trying to help guide you to what you want and keep you out of harm’s way. If is feels good or right- do it! If not, then don’t. Takes some practice, but eventually, the logical mind accepts it and the intuitive guidance becomes stronger.
This also goes for any type of people you are dealing with. Embrace the people that give you good vibes, and at all costs steer totally clear of the people who don’t. For one reason or another the people giving you the bad vibes aren’t good for you and are more than likely not taking your life in the direction you’d like it to go.
What I want you to understand is your feelings are like a hot and cold compass. And your mind’s job is to just hold onto the thoughts of where you want to go in life. As you hold the mental images of what you’d like to be doing and having in your life, your emotions come into play to let you know what direction you’re headed in. When you are making choices and doing things in your life that you feel good about, you are headed in the direction of manifesting exactly what it is you want to manifest. If you choose to make a choice you feel bad about or doing something you don’t feel good about you, are actually headed in the wrong direction and you won’t manifest the result you’re looking for. Even worse, there is a good chance you’ll be manifesting its complete opposite- and that’s not good.
There are lots of books and resources out there for developing mental focus- so don’t worry. Once you practice it more it becomes relatively easy to do, and you’ll also be able to hold your attention span for longer periods of time. Even people with ADHD can do this. There are plenty of books out there on trusting your feelings. I do want you to know that Enlightenment is not some special place you reach all of sudden. It’s something you become over a period of time as you evolve as a human being. As you seek methods and more resources on how to get to where you want, you will gain access to the same things that anyone else who has achieved anything their heart’s desire has.
Anyway, those are my thoughts and advice to anyone looking to become enlightened. When you find yourself keeping your focus and trusting your feelings you will know that you are an Enlightened Being! Good luck.
