Should you have it all?
Yes! Actually it’s your divine right to have it ALL. Your ego (mind) is designed to desire things and want more. Our desires help to shape and expand the Universe itself. With this being said, The Creator (God) wants you to experience all of your heart’s desires. It is in your heart’s desire that you find fulfillment and joy, and God is the very definition of what eternal joy is. Once you’ve figured this out “having it all” also becomes easier when you accept it’s OK to “have it all!” Thus, I would make sure you get over the common misconceptions of what “having it all” means. So let’s delve into this subject matter. In this article I have gone into detail as to why “having it all” is your divine right. It is my intent that you’re greatly empowered by this. Enjoy.
As a human being you are deserving of TOTAL JOY in your life in ALL areas. I’ve seen people settle for mediocre living standards all because they felt they weren’t worthy. Actually, you’re born worthy! You were not put on this planet to experience a simple existence. You were put on this planet to get to what you want in your own way and enjoy the ride. Being the loving Creator that God is, I don’t believe you were put on this planet for anything else but to experience your desires. I know some of you might be thinking,” Well, Ezra, that just doesn’t pay the bills!” My answer to that is to at least then look for work or a business you just love doing. If you don’t know what that is than just keep asking your Creator to show you something. Most average adults work the majority of their lifetime. You might as well be doing something that makes you as happy as possible.
The ego is actually designed to want more and more. Many think that listening to their ego’s desires is a bad thing, but actually it’s not. Listening to your ego talk about lack and complain IS a bad thing. As you can see there is a difference. Your ego (mind) is designed to want something, receive it, and then enjoy it. After the ego receives and enjoys whatever it is it wants, then it will desire something new. The ego is NEVER satisfied, and that’s OK! Yes you heard me say that. You’re going to want more, and that’s just fine. The most important thing is to remember is that you WILL get more, so long as you believe you can have whatever it is you’re aiming for.
Here is an example of how the ego (mind) works:
Bob finds himself in a situation where he’s living pay check to pay check. Obviously he starts to foster the idea of having more money. His ego says that he needs more money, and Bob starts fostering the idea of having more money. Within a matter of a few months Bob ends up finding his way to having more money stream in. Actually A LOT more money streaming in. Bob’s ego receives and enjoys the money. After receiving all this wonderful money Bob’s ego desires a mate to share all this wonderful money with. He gives thought to it and pretty soon he finds a way to obtain a wonderful new girlfriend. Bob now has a lot of money and a wonderful girlfriend in his life. Is he satisfied? Of course not! (And he shouldn’t be). Bob’s ego is now wanting to expand his business, marry his girlfriend and settle down with some kids. And so the process repeats itself. Bob keeps on wanting better and better, and his life keeps getting better.
As you can see from the example (and probably relate to some aspects of your own life experience), you never truly end up being satisfied with where you are. Now this doesn’t mean you can’t have gratitude for what you have. You would be wise to do that, but it also means you don’t settle. I’ve never seen someone truly to be happy by simply saying, “I don’t want anything else.” I don’t think such a person even exists. They might think they don’t need anything (which is fine), but deep down they still are seeking even more happiness. This is because desires are the very fuel for life itself and the motion of the Universe. To stop having desires is to pretty much be dead. Luckily, we live in a very alive Universe where it’s good to have it ALL and even more.
As we desire and obtain more and more of what we want out of life we are actually causing the Universe to expand and be reshaped. We cause new inventions to be made through our desires, cures for illnesses, better quality of life for ourselves and family, and the list goes on. It’s because of our desires that we are living in better times than we have ever lived in. Like I said before, if we stopped having desires we would all cease to exist. We would basically be dead. Think about how miserable you would be if you had no desires. What would you have to look forward to? Would there be any point to living? No. So desires are great, and wanting it all is even better.
The Creator (God ) actually wants you to have it ALL! This might come as a surprise to you, but it’s very true. Why is this true? Think of God as an extremely loving parent. This parent wants to see you do well and VERY WELL at that. When you’re sad so is God, and when you’re happy God is happy. Furthermore, this being is the very essences of SUPREME JOY. As you find your way to all of your heart’s desires (your supreme joy) you are literally finding your way to God. As you go through life having experiences and finding out about more of the things you’d love to do, you are finding out more about God. So of course God wants you to find your way back HOME. Home is God and God is your desires Your desires are what keep you alive and living is everything. So having it ALL is God’s top priority for you.
If you’re having a hard time grasping the idea of “having it all” then I assure you it will be very difficult to manifest into your life experience. If you can’t at least entertain the picture of your life being the way you’d like it to be, then it will be nearly impossible for you to head in that direction. I want you to know that ALL of your desires- big and small- are OK. Foster them and think about them as much as you possibly can. Don’t worry to much about how you can make them happen. If you at least think about them and pray for them to happen everyday your Creator will take care of the rest for you. You will be guided to, or the circumstances will manifest in your life to take you to wherever your heart’s desire is. It’s very important you start at least trying to believe that it’s possible for you in the here and now to have it ALL. If you can’t, just don’t expect it to magically show up and prove you wrong.
Though I understand why some of you have such hesitation to desire even more, most of society has taught us a lot of crappy junk when it comes to this subject. Luckily, I have broken down some of the popular misconceptions that stop most people from desiring more. Here they are:
#1 God is way too busy helping others to be burdened by any of my petty desires. My answer: Actually God is an infinite supply of power and there is no possible way for you to burden him/her. Furthermore, God is an absolute perfect Creator and you were designed perfectly. Why would God design you to not desire anything? That would be just silly. Lastly, God holds all desires as equally important. It’s human beings and their limited thinking that casts judgments on whether or not their desires are worthy of God’s time. ALL YOUR DESIRES ARE WORTHY!
#2 If I desire more I open myself up to being hurt. My answer: Actually, if you try to end up forcefully trying to make yourself not desire anything- that will cause you to get hurt more than anything. Why is this? Because desires give us drive in life. It keeps fueling us and helps us to live an inspired existence. Everything is running off a desire, even if it’s the desire to desire nothing. That in and of itself is still a desire. My advice to you is to allow yourself to entertain ALL of the desires you’d like to have in your life all the time. If you do this you will find yourself feeling inspired and living a happier existence.
#3 It’s too late for me to have my desire. I’m too old or I’ve lost my chance. My answer: It’s never ever too late. The sooner you start to foster your desires the better. Did you know that you literally have to experience ALL of the earthly desire’s your particular heart yearns to experience before you can ascend? Your heart has to literally feel it has experienced all the earthly desires it can before you can stop reincarnating on this planet and ascend up to the next level. So either you start fostering your desires now and experiencing them or you can wait until the next life. One way or another you’re going to have to get into it. You might as well start asking and receiving now.
#4 I don’t know how I could ever get to what my heart is yearning for- so why should I bother? My answer: I understand that sometimes the obstacles and the gap between you and your desire seems very far away. Trust me when I say I’ve been there. Let me tell you though, from a Universal energy standpoint, the only possible way to make things happen for you faster is to pray or meditate upon what it is you want to have in your life. Why is this? Because your thoughts hold a certain power to influence energy on a subtle level to cause massive results to happen for you and the world. That’s why every major religion says to either pray or meditate. All successful people say the same thing. Take me on blind faith on this one. Pray everyday and as much as you can for what it is you’d like to see happen. IT WILL PAY OFF.
#5 I’m told my desires are wrong and selfish. My answer: Actually, your desires can never be wrong or selfish so long as they make you feel extremely happy and at peace. Anyone telling you that is casting a judgment on you out of their own ignorance. Most times we get this from family members, but it’s OK. Just accept that this is where they are at in their spiritual development and continue to focus on what it is you desire. Remember, there is absolutely no force on the planet that can stop you from having what it is you want.
Hopefully you were able to take something out of this article. I know for some this is just a refresher and for others this is something that will benefit their lives by leaps and bounds. Nonetheless, keep your desires HIGH! It is my promise to you that you will one day obtain them.
